There are no franchise fees or royalties, ever. AirMD only succeeds if our Affiliate succeeds. Investment costs are for equipment and startup costs only and are approximately $9,000.00.

There are no royalty fees.

Each location is different. Operations and profitability will depend on several factors including marketing efforts, performance of your personnel, market conditions and other factors beyond our control.

Currently there is no national advertising fund, but should one be developed the Affiliate will be required to contribute a monthly fee of $250.00 to our marketing fund(s). Affiliates are required to spend a minimum of $400 per month in local marketing and SEO for the Affiliate business. However, in order to preserve our brand integrity, all AirMD marketing and promotional materials are subject to our review and approval.

Your location will be an individually owned and operated business, operating under your own corporate structure with assistance from AirMD Corporate for scheduling, report writing, technical science, customer service, invoicing and accounts receivable and marketing. We do take several steps to protect the AirMD name and brand and require our Affiliates to operate in accordance with brand specifications and requirements to ensure brand integrity for each AirMD location.

We provide marketing materials and templates that can be easily customized with local information. We also engage various media agencies who assist in designing local, regional and national marketing plans that ensure brand integrity at every level, all Affiliates are welcome to participate alongside AirMD but are not required to do so.

No, AirMD personnel have a wide range of experience in the scientific and engineering fields. Our staff of professional scientists and engineers have backgrounds in bacteriology, mycology, aerobiology, microscopy, environmental science and toxicology and will train AirMD affiliates in required disciplines for their day to day operations.

To stay ahead of the curve, our scientists and engineers receive on-going training and the required education on the latest technology, procedures, industry advancements and developments.

AirMD Affiliates can expect to be open and operating within 3 months after the Affiliate Agreement has been executed.

After the Affiliate Agreement is executed, the Affiliate must become a Licensed Lead Inspector and a Licensed Asbestos Inspector. Licensing requirements vary state-to-state. AirMD does not license Affiliates, but coursework is offered by various organizations throughout the U.S.

After 6 months of experience in the field of indoor environmental investigation, Affiliates are required to apply for the Council-certified Residential Indoor Environmentalist (CRIE).

Individuals are eligible for the CRIE certification who can attest to their employment in the field of indoor environmental investigation.
